Barista

Requirements/Experience:

Mechanic Coffee is a growing company and we are looking for an individual who is interested not only in barista work, but to grow into other opportunities as our company expands.

· Must be available to work weekends

· Must be able to stand for longer periods of time

· Must have strong work ethic

· Must have a good attitude 

· Must be 18 years of age or older

This role requires the eagerness to learn about coffee, water, electrical and mechanical theory and application, the ability to work hard and to treat co-workers and customers with respect.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Prepare and serve handcrafted drinks 

· Engage with customers 

· Use register and handle money

· Keep a clean and tidy work area

· Keep busy during slower times

· Learn and explain different coffee types and profiles. E.g. Blend vs. Single Origin 

Position: Part time

· Each shift is between 5.5-6 hours

· Currently seeking to fill 2-3 shifts per week.

Compensation

Starting wage $10 +tips (average an additional $6 per/hr)
